Kirchplatz Office + Residence

This beautiful re-use / addition caught my eye and I thought I would share it. I really enjoy the combination of stark modernism with the romantic old structure. The white washed interiors are gorgeous, functional and highlight the old structure at the same time. It is also a joy to see additions that develop under utilized basements and subterranean levels. The "skylights" in the lawn are great! The exposed and continued structure along exterior side of the addition create a nice connection to the outdoor space.
