This is one seriously gorgeous thriftshop... much better looking that what we see in Seattle!
Designed by Dutch firm BYTR, this project is one part social justice, one part innovative design, and a whole lot of gorgeous. With a limited budget, the designers created a cardboard ladder-like pallet system for storing and showcasing the wares, with a central stack of furniture that is as much display as it is artwork. And on top of that, the employees of the store (previously homeless), have the opportunity to live upstairs.
I love pretty much everything about this project!
