Florence

Above are a few of my favorite Florence photos...
C and I had a great time in Florence... we arrived there straight from Seattle and spent 4 days wandering the city. Four days was probably more than we needed (3 would have been fine), but we managed to fill our time. We walked the entire city, pretty much every day... Luckily the weather was spectacular - plenty of blue skies and sunshine, as you can see.
The first day in Florence we went straight for the duomo... climbing all of its steps to the top. It was really cool to see Brunelleschi's dome from the inside, to experience what we'd only seen before in textbooks. It was a great start to the trip...
