Consolidating Storage
June 09, 2007Now that we are moving into a very small house, I've been thinking alot about different ways of consolidating storage and functional activities. This solution by Normal Projects, for a 450 sf Manhattan condo is a clever and intriguing use of cabinetry. The murphy bed is hidden by a cabinet that pivots, rather than swinging down allowing further separation of the space. Additional cubbies in the cabinet reveal a work space and storage possibilities. Its a lovely solution, but it probably wouldn't work for me.... I'd be too lazy to ever put the bed back!
