More Washi

As I alluded to in this post... I love Japanese culture, especially as it relates to design and craft. This Japanese paper (washi) light is another lovely example of using an ancient craft in a modern way. It looks more like a handkerchief falling down to earth, than a fixture. I'm not sure that I'd put this in my house, but the image is quite beautiful. Thanks to design milk for pointing me towards klaus.
